Privacy Policy

Information collected
We collect account details, business settings, customer and quote information you enter, service activity, and limited first-party funnel events. Our first-party traffic measurement may record campaign tags, advertising click identifiers, the referring domain, landing-page path, and an anonymous browser identifier. It does not intentionally store IP addresses, complete referring URLs, arbitrary query parameters, or sensitive form contents.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 on QuotEstimator marketing, signup, onboarding, pricing, and subscription-confirmation pages to understand visits and conversions. Google may receive page, browser, device, approximate location, referral, and campaign information and may use cookies or similar technologies. Google Analytics is not loaded in the signed-in quoting application or on customer-facing quote and request pages. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, business details, customer details, or quote contents to Google Analytics. Google Analytics event data is configured for retention for up to 14 months; first-party funnel records are retained as needed to operate and improve the service.
Payments
Stripe processes subscription and supported customer payments. QuotEstimator stores Stripe customer, subscription, merchant-account, status, and transaction identifiers but does not store full payment-card numbers.
How information is used
Information is used to operate, secure, support, and improve QuotEstimator; deliver quotes and notifications; process subscriptions; provide consent-based customer marketing for participating businesses; suppress unwanted marketing; and measure traffic sources, signup, and activation performance.
New accounts may receive a short onboarding sequence. Participating businesses may offer their customers a separate, optional marketing signup or add contacts for whom they attest that they already have marketing permission. Customer Marketing records include the email address, customer or contact name and company name when available, business-created email-list assignments, consent wording and version, source quote or documented-permission source, consent and confirmation times, a one-way hash associated with a public signup network address, campaign delivery activity, an audit history of consent and suppression changes, and unsubscribe, bounce, or complaint status. Campaign links may identify the originating campaign so that resulting quote requests and paid quote totals can be reported to that business. Public quote signups are not activated until the recipient uses the confirmation link. Each campaign includes an unsubscribe method, and unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential quote, service, security, or billing messages.
Sharing and retention
Information may be shared with service providers needed to operate QuotEstimator, including hosting, email, payment, and storage providers. Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, measure and secure it, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform.
Your choices
You may update account and business information in the app, unsubscribe from onboarding email, unsubscribe from a specific business’s marketing without signing in, or contact Support about access, correction, or deletion requests.
